Only Blender 2.8 for Sansar and SL Bento version. Small bugs fixed. Release v3.0.3!!! – Small bugs fixed New!!! Release v3.0.2!!! Now two versions are available. For BLENDER 2.79 and 2.8. There is no big difference in the work of the addon for Blender 2.8. Project Bento is an update to the Second Life Avatar Skeleton which is what allows Second Life Avatars to move and come to life, as well as enabling the creation of more lifelike and intricate rigged mesh attachments. The Project Bento Update added bones to the skeleton to expand rigging and animation support in the following areas. Avastar should be much more expensive than it is, it's already a ridiculously cheap price and don't forget that what has changed is a feature within SL that required a change to Avastar. Get off expecting free updates to everything when the underlying technology changes, it's not always reasonable to expect creators to keep chasing LL's updates.
Greetings of all!
add-on helps you quickly make the binding of bones to avatars. To do this, you do not need to know a lot of any tools in the blender. Add-on is suitable for beginners and experienced, but more for beginners. Learn the add-on lessons will help, for example, animals, humanoid, two-legged characters. As a result, you can quickly bind the bones to avatars and sell in Second Life. After the purchase you will receive a note with instructions on how to get the add-on, links to lessons on installing add-on. References to lessons on the binding of bones to the animal, to the humanoid, to the bipedal and other material.

New!!! Release 2.1.1!!!
Added 3 buttons to addon. Which I often lacked. I hope you will find them useful too.
– The “Join” button merges objects into one mesh.
– The “Separate” button separates the combined mesh.
– Button “Tris to Quads” makes of triangular polygons in square.
Two buttons of the three are hidden away in Blender. Now they will always be in sight.

Important: For Fitted Mesh Rigging you must use Blender 2.70 or newer, see here:
Important:Use the Female Skeleton also for Male characters!
Bento meshes: (without any warranty)

- Bento Angel-2017-01-09 (.blend)

Note:
I have not added male versions because i first need to know what you need. Please let me know how you want them. With modified skeleton, or male mesh adjusted to female skeleton or anything else… ?
I realise that i have no idea how to make a male Avatar without Avastar.
Avastar Bento Freeze
Short User Manual:
The workbench adds some nice to have features (please explore by yourself):
- A Female SL character with default female Rig
- A MakeHuman character, fully rigged, weighted and adapted to the SL-clothing textures is also embedded
- A male SL Character (works reasonable well since workbench 2.71)
- The pose library now contains a relaxed pose. (workbench-263 and newer)
since workbench 271
I use 6 layers for nicer organisation:
Layer 1: The Head, UpperBody and LowerBody of the SL-default female Avatar
Layer 2: The MakeHuman Avatar, also separated into Head,UpperBody and LowerBody.
Layer 3: The SL-Male armature, Head, UpperBody and LowerBody of the SL-default male Avatar
Layer 6: The skirt-, eyes- and hair- templates of the female SL-Avatar
Layer 11: The The SL-Female armature.
Layer 12: The same armature
Layer 13: the armature used for the Male character. Note: This is essentially the same armature as the female armature. The Male mesh has been adjusted accordingly. When you later enable “male” in your SL shape, then the imported mesh should snap to the correct shape.

- I have cleaned the meshes. The Weights have been slightly optimized for the feet.
- I added the missing mFootLeft and mFootRight vertex groups
You can combine all layers as you like (use SHIFT select to select multiple layers at once).
Create a tiny (or giant):
- select the armature in object mode
- scale the armature to the desired size (1 Blender Unit = 1 SL Meter)
- Object -> Apply -> Scale (for the asrmature)
- Select Armature AND Mesh
- Export the selection
- Import the dae to SL with weights and joints
Create a still pose (statue):
- Select the armature
- Go to pose mode
- Pose your character
- go to object mode
- switch to the Modifier stack (in the properties window)
- Apply the armature modifier
- Export your mesh
- Import the mesh as static (no weights no joints)
